Another top day out on the bikes :) with not a breath forecast this weekend it was time to get out on two wheels. I packed breakfast and a picnic lunch and we headed along Felixstowe prom to our favourite spot at Felixstowe Ferry to watch the boats - this week there was lots of kids in all sorts of dinghies being towed out by power boats as the wind was very light. After breakfast at the Ferry we headed along the River Deben footpath passing lots of birdwatchers looking out for a Montagu Harrier. The river path wasn't too bad but got a bit bumpy as we passed Ramsholt !!! We stopped for our picnic lunch at a creek just past Ramsholt and then headed inland finding country lanes again, passing Hemley,Newbourne,Kirton,Trimley and then home after 5 hours out - top day :)
